Lumeris, a pioneer in population health management solutions headquartered in St. Louis, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Studenka as chief marketing officer.
A healthcare industry veteran with over 20 years of global business experience, Studenka will play a key role in developing and deploying an integrated marketing strategy for Lumeris. His deep experience in working across the sales and marketing functions in dynamic and rapidly changing markets will be critical as Lumeris continues to define the model for delivery of population health solutions to healthcare markets across the country. Studenka will serve as a member of the company’s executive leadership team and will report to Jeff Smith, senior vice president, head of U.S. markets.

Studenka comes to Lumeris from Philips Healthcare, a division of Royal Philips, where he most recently served as vice president, global sales and marketing, and was responsible for building and managing Philips Healthcare Informatics Service and Solutions Business Group’s global sales and marketing capabilities. Prior to this, Studenka held various international leadership positions in Asia Pacific and Europe, where he was instrumental in building the Philips Healthcare brand amongst leading healthcare institutions, physicians and government agencies. Prior to Philips, Studenka held various healthcare sales and marketing leadership roles at Stryker Endoscopy and STERIS Corporation, and began his career with roles at Ernst & Young LLP and The Quaker Oats Company.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Studenka holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University, Ohio, where he graduated with distinction. Studenka has been a guest lecturer on international business at Miami University Dolibois European Center and San Diego State University; and also serves as a board member of the Testicular Cancer Society.

Essence was Lumeris’ pioneer client and has been leveraging Lumeris for more than a decade to operate its Medicare Advantage plans, which serve more than 62,000 Medicare beneficiaries in various counties throughout Missouri and southern Illinois.
