As Senior Vice President, Risk-Based Medicare and ACO Programs, Joe Satorius leads the Lumeris Accountable Risk Organization (ARO) which includes over $2B across risk-based Medicare Advantage and CMS Programs (ACO REACH and MSSP). Through the Lumeris ARO, Joe leads a team that contracts directly with payers and partners with health systems and provider organizations to deploy risk-based models of value-based care that improve outcomes and quality for beneficiaries.
Prior to joining Lumeris, Joe managed legal, finance and strategic initiatives as Associate General Counsel of Express Scripts (Cigna) and previously advised in matters of strategic investments, finance, M&A and capital markets with Skadden Arps in New York. Joe began his career serving with Teach for America (7th and 8th grade math) in Newark, NJ. Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bucknell University and a juris doctorate from Fordham University School of Law.
